Concours Mondial du Sauvignon: silver medal

Cantina di Bertiolo proudly celebrates a new international achievement: Sauvignon Cabert DOC Friuli has been awarded a Silver Medal at the prestigious Concours Mondial du Sauvignon – Sauvignon Sélections 2025, one of the world’s leading competitions entirely dedicated to Sauvignon wines.

This result confirms the quality and growing international recognition of our Friuli white wines, appreciated for their freshness, elegance, and strong territorial identity.

An International Competition Dedicated to Sauvignon

The Concours Mondial du Sauvignon, part of the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles circuit, brings together every year a panel of international experts, including winemakers, sommeliers, and wine journalists.
All wines are evaluated through blind tastings, following strict criteria that assess balance, aromatic complexity, typicity, and overall quality.

Receiving a medal in this context means standing out among hundreds of international wines and successfully representing the excellence of a specific wine region.

impressed the jury with its aromatic precision and stylistic clarity, earning a Silver Medal.

In addition to the Silver Medal, two more wines from the winery received the CMB Merit Award, a recognition given to wines that stand out for quality and personality:
