Cabert Awarded by the Gambero Rosso Guide: Four Casali Roncali Wines Receive the “2 Bicchieri”

Cantina di Bertiolo celebrates an important milestone in the world of Italian wine: four labels from the Casali Roncali line have been awarded the 2 Bicchieri in the prestigious 2026 Gambero Rosso Guide, one of the most authoritative references for wine professionals and enthusiasts.

This recognition rewards the quality, consistency, and dedication we put every day into our vineyards and our work in the cellar, producing wines that truly express the identity of the Friuli Colli Orientali territory.

Awarded Wines – 2 Bicchieri Gambero Rosso 2026

Below are the four labels that received the award. All these wines belong to the DOC Friuli Colli Orientali, one of Italy’s most renowned areas for producing elegant, structured, and territorially expressive whites and reds.

Pinot Grigio 2024 – 2 Bicchieri

Delicate onion skin color nuance. Floral and fruity aromas of acacia and hawthorn accompanied by aromas of dried fruit, almonds and hazelnuts. You can perceive mineral and flint notes linked to the cultivation soil.

On the palate it is decisive, mineral, warm and enveloping.

Sauvignon 2024 – 2 Bicchieri

With an intense straw yellow color, with refreshing aromas of citrus, fruits, lemon, grapefruit, bergamot, passion fruit, elder and notes of sage. Mineral.

Schioppettino 2023 – 2 Bicchieri

Notes of berries, spices and black pepper. Gentle on the palate, it is warm and enveloping, with a beautiful freshness. With excellent aromatic persistence, it is dynamic and well balanced

Merlot 2023 – 2 Bicchieri

Full and robust aroma, slightly erbaceous. It brings to mind raspberry and black cherry. Full-bodied, with spicy notes. The taste is structured, dry and sapid. It presents a structure that accompanies it to longevity.
